Chimfit chimney register plates are made from 1.5mm glazanised steel and come with 4 full length angle iron brackets to fix the plates in place. As the plates are made from galvanzied steel, they will not corrode and do not require painting unless it is for asthetic purposes.

We offer register plates in three sizes:

• 800mm x 400mm
• 1000mm x 400mm
• 1250mm x 600mm

These plates come with a choice of no centre hole (you can cut as required) 4 inch, 5 inch or 6 inch centre hole for flue pipe. You can also choose whether you need an access hatch for sweeping the chimney (not necessary if you have lined the chimney with Chimfit Flue Liner).

Installation of these plates is easy. Simply choose the size which is the same size or slightly larger than your requirements and cut to exact size on site using a tool such as an angle grinder. Fix the angle irons to the insde of your chimney breast and screw the register plate up to the brackets. Seal all round the register plate using high temperature sealant and you can use stove rope and fire cement to seal round the flue pipe.

Chimney Register plates are used to seal the chimney from the fireplace, whilst allowing the flue pipe to pass through to either connect to flexible flue liner or to simply pass nto the chimney is your chimney has been tested for updraught and soundness.
